Wax Print documentary now streaming for a limited time
An independent documentary uncovering the untold history of traditional African clothing is now available to stream online for a limited time.
Wax Print: 1 Fabric, 4 Continents, 200 Years of History is now streaming on the Aya Films website until August 31.
Aiwan Obinyan, the British-Nigerian filmmaker behind the documentary, was set to present her film to audiences in London earlier this year, but was forced to postpone plans due the Covid-19 pandemic.
Wax Print tells the history of traditional African clothing, uncovering the people, culture and business behind the vibrant fabrics. The documentary has been screened at international film festivals and received award nominations.
You can purchase a streaming ticket for Wax Print on Aya Films now.
A one-time streaming ticket costs £2.00. You can also support the filmmaker with a larger donation up to £8.00.
