Denai Moore cuts shapes in the desert for ‘Desolately Devoted’ video
Singer-songwriter Denai Moore has released new video for her song ‘Desolately Devoted’, and it sees her gallivanting about the South African desert.
Continuing her series of bold visuals for her recently released second album, We Used to Bloom, her latest video, directed by Travys Owen, features her lounging in desert vegetation and throwing shapes in the middle of incredible vistas.
“Desolately Devoted is about the terrifying but wonderful sensation of wanting to be with someone, and the reluctance to accept that someone can make you feel so vulnerable,” said Moore in a statement.
“The idea of the video was for it to be shot in vast desolate spaces in South Africa. This was probably my favourite video I’ve ever shot, mainly because I would have been too terrified to make this kind of video years ago. I never used to be able to even watch my own videos back but I watch this one all the time.”

Following the release of her second album, Moore is set to tour the UK this autumn.
Moore has so far released videos for her singles ‘Trickle’ and ‘Does It Get Easier?’, as well as a behind the scenes look at the making of ‘All the Way’ with Kwabs.
