MOBO UnSung tour enlists Tiggs Da Author, Tanya Lacey and Tobi Sunmola
Ten promising musicians will bring their musical flavour to three UK cities this month as part of the MOBO UnSung tour.
Alika, winner of MOBO UnSung 2016, plus nine other finalists, who include Lloyd Luther, Mega and Jay Alexzander, will tour Manchester, Bristol and London.
From our experience, MC Alika’s disarming honestly makes her one not to miss – she’s already featured on a track with fellow rising star, Nadia Rose. And the music of singer-songwriter Mega comes from a place of true attentiveness and affection.
On the tour, the UnSung finalists will be joined by a headline act: hip hop artist Tobi Sunmola with special guest Two4Kay in Manchester, singer Tanya Lacey in Bristol, and slinky R&B man Tiggs Da Author in London.
All ten finalists will perform on the London date.

MOBO UnSung is a talent competition for unsigned artists producing original work. Artists submit their music and 10 finalists are chosen. The top three receive grants towards their work, as well as a year-long artist development program of industry and production workshops facilitated by MOBO in addition to the MOBO UnSung tour.
Starting in 2012, the competition has been a gateway to bigger things for artists who have been chosen as finalists, such as deals with labels and publishers (Alika, Jacob Banks, Mulally), touring with global stars (Mic Lowery supported Justin Bieber on his 2016 European tour), and going on to win their own MOBO Awards (Nadia Rose).
