Meet singing and rapping sisters Niki & Niyah.
Developing a love for singing and dancing from an early age, and encouraged by their father, these sisters are honing their skills, performing in their home state of California.
The debut single from this sister act, ‘Late Night’, is saucy, assertive R&B, which gives you a taste of their harmonious voices in concert together. It’s promising.
The song was produced by Niki & Niyah, Riley Urick and Tempo.
These LA sisters have shared a handful of songs and covers so far, including a slick refix of SZA’s ‘Love Galore’ with an original rap from Niyah.
Their influences include Lauryn Hill, Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes, Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, and Mariah Carey.
The sound and fashion of the 90s and early 00s has evidently made a big impact on them. Looking like they’ve just stepped out of a Vibe or Essence magazine photo shoot, the sisters do all their own styling, too.
