London singer Fatima has returned with an alluring new single, ‘Somebody Else’, the first track to be taken from her as-yet-untitled second album.
Produced by JD Reid, ‘Somebody Else’ swells with the sturdy melancholy of Fatima’s voice.
The video was directed by Shane Connolly, and shot on location at the sightly Alexandra Road Estate in Camden. Check out the video below.
Fatima – her full name Fatima Bramme Sey – released her debut album, Yellow Memories, on Eglo records in 2014. Her expressive songs, such as ‘Technology’, ‘La Nala’ and ‘Family’, have made her a true queen of contemporary R&B to those who already know her work.
Fatima’s second album is due next year.
